I almost bought MySql (sp?) Apache and Perl for Dummies today. Oh yeah and Php too. I backed off due to time constraints but I think I am going to have to delve.
Oh and hecks yeah we are so that stupid. A friend thought it would be funny to send a virus around. To her it was an obvious virus scam. However, I operate on the assumption that my friends will not send me viruses knowingly. So I clicked. Thank god I have the mac. I didn't get the virus but others did. She apologized and said she didn't mean to do it. Hunh? It didn't send itself the way some things can.
This was an ADULT. I was a bit miffed. I was under the mistaken assumption that we don't mess around like that out of simple politeness. I am over it but I won't make that assumption again.

Not that it had anything to do with identity theft, but just to prove how stupid we can be. She sent it. I opened it.
If someone took my identity at this point they wouldn't be able to get much with it. One side benefit of the credit crunch.
